VIAVIA 2 Years w/ David Vunk, Milio, Iris Rijskamp, Isia & Sirlof at Clubkade, Den Bosch
On May 2, VIAVIA returns to Clubkade to celebrate two years of building something from the ground up.
What started small has grown into a space that lives on the dancefloor, shaped by time, energy and a shared focus on depth, connection and music that stays close to the heart. At its core, VIAVIA is about bringing people together. Not just the artists, but everyone in the room contributes to the energy of the night, creating something that feels collective and real.
Over time, a community has formed, familiar faces returning, shaping each night together. Along the way, we’ve brought a wide range of artists to Den Bosch, introducing new shades of house and techno. For this 2-year anniversary, we invite David Vunk, joined by Iris Rijskamp, Milio, Isia and Sirlof. A lineup moving between house, techno and italo disco, centered around the dancefloor.
A celebration of what has grown, and of everyone who has been part of it.
DAVID VUNK
Born and raised in Rotterdam, Moustache Records label boss David Vunk is The Beast of the Harbour City with 30 years of DJ experiences to draw on. From acid to techno, Italo disco to electro and all the way back, he has energy to spare when in the booth and can contort a dance floor and fire up a crowd in an instant. He makes thrilling transitions between records that are instinctive and intriguing, whether sizing up his sound for a big festival stage or honing in on more intimate dynamics for a small and sweaty basement.
As both a DJ and producer, Vunk works up powerful sounds that are built on rough edged analog basslines, forceful drums and electrifying synths, but does so with a sense of narrative that always keeps you guessing. It’s a skill you cannot fake, and one he has picked up from endless hours of playing places like Boiler Room at Dekmantel, closing sets at Lowlands Festival or at cult clubs like Lab.oraltory and Panoramabar. Burning as bright now as he did a quarter of a century ago, he playes more than 100 gigs across Europe and the rest of the world, and never failes to leave his own indelible mark.
Milio
Milio is a VIAVIA resident and a defining force behind the nights. His sets move between introspection and the physical pull of the dancefloor, built on a strong sense of timing, flow and atmosphere. Rooted in a hardware-driven approach, he plays in a way that feels fluid and reactive, letting things unfold rather than forcing direction. Moving through house, techno and dub-influenced spaces, his sets balance warmth, tension and subtle shifts in energy. Always closely connected to the room, he knows when to hold back and when to push forward, shaping the progression of the night from within.
IRIS RIJSKAMP
VIAVIA resident Iris Rijskamp moves with a natural sense of flow, but always keeps things unpredictable. Her sets balance hypnotic depth with moments of energy, pulling from an eclectic palette rooted in italo, house and trance. Driven by a constant urge to discover, she brings a selection that feels both personal and unexpected, never settling into one direction for too long. As she puts it herself, “genre is a construct, don’t pin me down on it.” She has played at festivals and nights such as Lowlands, DRIFT and Into The Woods, bringing that same open and intuitive approach to every setting. On this night, she joins Milio for a back-to-back shaped by trust and intuition. Expect a set that unfolds gradually, moving between warm textures and more driving moments, fully connected to the floor.
ISIA
Isia will warm up the dancefloor, setting the tone for the night ahead. Her selection is focused, atmospheric and groove-driven, creating a steady build that invites people in and allows the room to come together naturally. Expect a warm, patient opening where rhythm and mood take center stage, laying the foundation for everything that follows.
SIRLOF
Sirlof moves between rhythm and detail, building sets that feel both deep and driving. His sound carries subtle influences from beyond the usual spectrum, woven into hypnotic grooves that continue to evolve over time. There’s a quiet precision in the way he plays, letting things build naturally while staying closely connected to the floor. Expect a set that shifts between tension and release, without ever losing its flow.
