After a long summer in the studio, Partly Essential makes his debut on VIAVIA with Waas, a three-track EP that captures both introspection and momentum.
The title track, Waas, sets the tone with an airy yet powerful energy. Driven and atmospheric, it builds patiently, shifting accents before coming together in a blissful climax. It’s the kind of track that feels equally suited for an evening set or something more profound into the night.
Herstart takes a more hypnotic and driven route. Its rolling groove and focused rhythm push forward with purpose, creating a deep sense of momentum and release.
To close the EP, Genex offers his Binnenlicht Reconstruction of Waas, reworking the original into a faster, more dynamic form. With a distinctive piano flip and his own intricate sound design, Genex transforms Waas into a high-energy conclusion that rounds off the EP perfectly.
