Dirty Vistas
Two Steps
"Two Steps" is a song about embracing a little risk in love—choosing to experience life fully and cherish the moments you've lived through, rather than regretting the chances you never took.
Dirty Vistas is a trio consisting of Jan van Oudheusden (drums), Tim Ewalts (guitar/bass guitar) and Sjeng Muermans (vocals, keys), born out of love for all things dirty, raw and broken. Bossy bass lines, dirty grooves and unfiltered prose. Danceable yet open-ended and unresolved. Shimmering and groundbreaking sounds, untouched and therefore clear as day. Dirty Vistas brings something vulgar and rattling, bursting at the seams.
lyrics
Take two steps into nothing
Five days on a field trip to nowhere
Take a chance on the mundane
Find a girl on a Friday night
Five days on a field trip to nowhere
Take a chance on the mundane
Find a girl on a Friday night
Make amends on the backseat
Love is where I’m gonna right my wrongs
The dance of the hearts is worth it
The final thoughts of a dying man.
